About Us

Financial Architects Ltd is a small family run business established in 2005. We provide advice on pretty much any financial issue, from mortgages to insurance, pensions to investments.

Both Derek and Michelle have over 35 years experience in the finance industry. We both worked in Permanent TSB for several years in lending and then worked for some of Irelands biggest mortgage brokerages before setting up our own business, Financial Architects.

We believe that a customer is the expert in what they want and need, we simply try to provide the solution. So if it is travel insurance, or savings advice, fixing your mortgage rate or just want to check our views on something, we are there to help and sometimes reassurance is all a client needs.

We are fully Qualified Financial Advisors (QFA) and Fellows of the Life Insurance Association of Ireland (FLIA), we also have several other professional financial qualifications such as Diploma in Property Investment and Lending, Certificate in Mortgage Practice, and Certificate in General Insurance. We are currently studying for a Pensions Diploma in 2010.

As the economy shifts, so does our priorities. When things are good we tend to consider products that will help us accumulate wealth, when they are bad we tend to look to insurance products to protect usfinancially. What we had on our mind a few years ago, may no longer be important. Your circumstances may have changed. The person that was single, aged 29 that had no responsibilities (mortgage or children), might now be aged 35 with a mortgage, possibly children, perhaps married and their financial priorities will differ greatly in a short time and that's where we can help advise on what may be best for you now.

We are based in Ratoath in Co Meath and Clonee in Dublin 15, and are in Dublin city centre every couple of days. Clients tend to want to meet during the day, so lunchtimes are very popular and never a problem for us.

Why are we different? Well there are very few family run businesses, with our qualifications in the greater Dublin area that can offer advice on so many products. We also have a unique financial planning report which is specific to our clients, which we offer every client for free. If you have any questions at any stage you can contact us.
